Every delivery driver has a story about the bag that leaked. Broth seeped through a folded lid, soaked the passenger seat, and the customer refused the order. The restaurant refunded $20 and lost a repeat buyer. That’s not a container problem. That’s a sealing problem.

The 680ml gold rectangle solves it with a heat seal, not a fold. A machine applies a foil lid that bonds to the tray’s flange using a resin coating. No crimping. No tape. No “hope it holds.” The bond is consistent across every tray because we control the sealing parameters in our own testing lab. We run peel tests at 1, 10, and 50 hours after sealing. We simulate delivery vibration on a shaker table. We freeze trays, thaw them, then check the seal. If it fails any test, we adjust the film or the flange design.

Why 680ml? Because that’s the standard large noodle bowl size in Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam. A full portion of tom yum or bun bo Hue fits with room for noodles and bean sprouts. The 55mm depth leaves a 10mm air gap above the liquid. That gap prevents the hot broth from contacting the film during sealing — contact is the number one cause of weak bonds. We learned this by analyzing 5,000 failed seals from customers who used cheaper trays. Now we build the gap into the design.

On our factory floor, waste is measured in grams per thousand trays. The aluminum coil feeds into the press. The punch draws the tray. The skeleton — the scrap left behind — goes directly into a closed-loop compactor. It’s crushed, baled, and sent back to the rolling mill. The same metal becomes new coil within weeks. Nothing goes to a landfill. This system recovers over 95 percent of our production scrap. For a daily output of 720,000 trays, that’s tons of aluminum saved every month.

A pho chain in Ho Chi Minh City switched to our heat seal trays after calculating their annual leakage loss at $47,000. They bought a tabletop sealer, trained three staff members, and within two months, leakage complaints dropped to near zero. The owner told us the gold color also helped — customers posted photos of the sealed tray on social media, calling it “the gold standard.” But the real win was operational: no more wiping down delivery bags, no more refunds, no more angry drivers.

Use this 680ml rectangle for any broth heavy dish that travels more than 15 minutes. Freeze it for meal kits. Heat it in a convection oven (remove the foil lid first). Recycle it when you’re done. The tray and the foil lid are both aluminum. One bin. No sorting. That’s the whole chain: form, fill, seal, deliver, recycle.
