Sustainability That Works

At Qiangli Group, sustainability isn’t a separate initiative — it’s built into how we manufacture. From raw material sourcing to production processes and waste management, we focus on one thing: making more with less.
We produce over 2 million units daily across our product lines — aluminum foil containers, kitchen foil rolls, salon foil sheets, and silicone-coated paper. Behind that volume is a system designed to minimize resource consumption at every stage.
Sustainable-Procurement-&-Closed-loop-Recycling

Sustainable Procurement & Closed-loop Recycling

• Daily production output: over 2 million units (containers, rolls, sheets, and silicone-coated paper)

• Carbon footprint: 98% lower than primary aluminum production

• Aluminum recovery rate: over 95% of production scrap is recycled internally

We start with traceable 8011 aluminum sourced directly from primary producers. During production — whether it’s container forming, roll slitting, or silicone-coated paper manufacturing — trimmings, edge cuts, and non-conforming materials are collected on-site.
These materials don’t go to waste. They’re compacted using our aluminum scrap compactor and fed back into the production cycle. This closed-loop system keeps valuable material in use and drastically cuts emissions.
What that means in practice:
Producing aluminum from recycled scrap uses about 5% of the energy required for primary aluminum. For every ton of scrap we recycle, we avoid roughly 11 tons of CO₂ emissions compared to virgin production. With our daily output, the cumulative impact is significant.
Improve-Yield-&-Reduce-Resource-Consumption

Improve Yield & Reduce Resource Consumption

• Production yield improvement: optimized cutting and forming processes reduce material loss by approximately 15–20% compared to industry averages

Daily material savings: based on 2 million units/day, improved yield saves roughly 2–3 tons of aluminum per day

Reject rate: maintained below 2% across automated production lines

Yield matters. The more usable product we get from each coil of aluminum, the less raw material we need to source, process, and transport.
Our automated container press lines run with precision control to minimize edge waste. For kitchen foil rolls, slitting widths are optimized to customer specifications, reducing leftover material. In the dust-free workshop, silicone-coated paper production follows similar principles — cutting accuracy is calibrated to maximize output per roll.
Every piece of scrap generated — whether from container forming, roll slitting, or paper converting — is segregated by type and returned to the recycling stream. Nothing is mixed, nothing is lost.
Context:
A standard aluminum coil weighs around 2.5–3 tons. By improving yield by 15%, we effectively gain one extra coil’s worth of output for every six to seven coils processed — without increasing raw material input.

Environmentally Friendly Coating Technology

VOC emissions: eliminated in coating and lamination processes

Water-based coatings used for silicone-coated paper production

Solvent-free lamination technology adopted for all multi-layer products

Traditional aluminum foil and paper coating processes often rely on solvent-based systems that release volatile organic compounds (VOCs) into the air. We took a different approach.
In our dust-free workshop, silicone-coated paper is produced using water-based coatings. The application is stable, the release performance is consistent, and there’s no solvent evaporation. For any laminated products, we use solvent-free adhesive systems.
What that means:
Cleaner air for our workers. No chemical residue on products. And zero VOC emissions from our coating and lamination lines.

Beyond the Three Pillars: What It Adds Up To

Daily impact (based on 2 million units/day):

Metric

Estimated Reduction

CO₂ emissions avoided (vs. primary aluminum)

20+ tons per day

Aluminum scrap recycled

8–10 tons per day

Virgin material saved

Equivalent to 2–3 coils per day

VOC emissions eliminated

100% from coating lines

These aren’t future goals. They’re happening now, across our 78,000㎡ facility and 10 automated production lines.
